REFLECTION ON MATERIALS

OUR MATERIALS ARE A JOURNEY FOR US. IN 2019, WE DECIDED TO BECOME A VEGAN BRAND AND THEREBY REFRAINED FROM USING LEATHER IN OUR PRODUCTS.

A responsible mindset is in everything we do and we constant seek new opportunities to challenge the use of materials without compromising on the quality.

We aim to use materials that has the lowest impact on the environment, and we work mostly with recycled fibers from plastic waste and lining made from recycled pre- and post-consumer fibers.

THE HEART OF OUR BUSINESS IS THE PRODUCTS WE CREATE

Our goal is to become more and more sustainable and use sustainable and recycled materials in our collections.

We can increase the lifetimes of our bags, by reusing, recycling, and taking good care of them. A lot of resources have been spent on making our bags, so we hope you will take good care of it.

PETA

Some design 2019 we became a PETA certified vegan brand and thereby refraining from not using leather materials for our products. Together with the ethical decision, which is the most important aspect, we believe that we can use materials that are better, has an authentic feel and a longer lifespan than leather.

We and our manufacturers have committed to follow the code of conducts that meets our standards for working environments and usage of chemicals in the production.

We want to have a positive impact on the people and the communities in which we operate. The most important part of hvisk are the people we are committed to. We want to make sure, that everyone associated with hvisk feels important, heard, and appreciated. Therefore, we invest our time and effort in people, and we consistently strive to improve our social responsibility both internally and externally.
