1. Delivery

International orders usually ships within 3-5 working days. For made-to-order goods, you may experience longer delivery time - this will be indicated in the text next to the product. All goods are supplied as long as stock lasts and hvisk reserves the right to have sold out of items. If a product is out of stock, hvisk reserves the right to send the complete order once the item is back in stock. We reserve the right to make misprints, errors, and price and stock changes.You will be contacted by email or phone if the delivery time is longer than expected.

If you are experiencing problems with your delivery you can contact Post Denmark by phone +45 70 70 70 30, using your Track & Trace number which you will have received in an email from hvisk. You can also contact hvisk by phone +45 31 10 22 20, and we will be happy to help you with your order.

2. Return Policy (Right of Withdrawal)

hvisk offers a 30-day return policy on all items. The item must be returned to hvisk within 30 days of receipt. The item must be returned in the same condition as when it was received and hvisk are unable to cover the return costs. This means that the item must be unused, with all original hvisk packaging and labels, and the item must not be damaged. The right of withdrawal will lapse if you use the item in a way that clearly reduces its sales value.

Once hvisk has received your return, the full amount you paid for the product (including the original dispatch costs, although not the return costs) will be credited on to your account within approximately seven working days. For payments made by credit card, refunds are made to the same account.

3. Payment Methods

hvisk strives to make payment as easy as possible for you. You can pay online with the following debit cards:

Card payments on hvisk.com do not incur additional charges.

The amount will be deducted from your credit card when the goods leave hvisk. All prices are listed in DKK and are inclusive of 25 % VAT.

All communication between our payment system and the cardholder takes place via an encrypted SSL connection (Secure Socket Layer). Neither hvisk nor other unauthorised persons can view the data exchanged upon payment.

4. Processing Personal Data

hvisk strives to protect your personal data in the most secure way possible, and will always treat your personal data according to all applicable rules in the Act on Processing of Personal Data.

 

(A) Storage of personal data:

The personal data handled by hvisk includes your name, email address, payment and order history, credit card number, shipping address, IP address, and phone number. Your personal data will be treated confidentially and used to process your order. Only the manager and employees with special permission have access to any personal data recorded. hvisk is responsible for the processing of personal data, and your information is stored in a database on a secure server. Legislative requirements for business driven accounts require hvisk to store your personal data for five years. You are always entitled to ask to have your personal data corrected, blocked or deleted.

Your personal data will not be used for direct marketing if you do not wish to receive this type of marketing. You can revoke your agreement for the processing of personal data at any time. Such revocation can be restricted to include only part of the processing, such as direct marketing. hvisk does not keep your customer information or transmit it.

 


(B) Registration:

When you register as a user on hvisk.com, you give consent for us to store your personal data. We will process the personal data that you have registered with us, or that we have collected through our website by means of cookies, with the aim to manage and fulfil our obligations to you as a customer. The personal data handled by hvisk includes your name, email address, payment and order history, credit card number, shipping address, IP address, and phone number.

The data can be used for identification, possible marketing, customer analysis, newsletters, and statistics.

The data can also be used to analyse purchasing habits, with the aim to provide you with relevant information and marketing, and to improve the website, payment methods and processes. Processing of data relating to improving payment methods and processes can include releasing your personal data to other parties within hvisk.

A user can unsubscribe at any time. This should be done by email to customerservice@hvisk.com.

 

(C) Emails and subscription to our newsletter:

By signing up for the hvisk newsletter, you give consent to receive newsletters with exclusive news and offers. The personal data you provide to us when signing up for newsletters can be used for identification, possible marketing, customer analysis, and statistics. 

The data can also be used to analyse purchasing habits, with the aim to provide you with relevant information and marketing, and to improve the website, payment methods and processes. Processing of data relating to improving payment methods and processes can include releasing your personal data to other parties within hvisk. 

News and offers will be forwarded by email. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the icon ‘Unsubscribe to newsletter’ at the bottom of the email.

5. Cookies

On hvisk.com, cookies are used to optimise the website and its functionality to give you the best experience when you visit. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

hvisk uses cookies to improve the website for you, i.e. by customising the website to your wishes, choices and interests, and to help you track which products you have put in your shopping basket, as well as to process your purchase. Cookies also ensure that you are logged into the website, so you don’t have to log in each time a new page opens. In addition, cookies are used to adjust our services to ensure that you receive relevant offers, as well as to meet our obligations in connection with a purchase.

You can at delete cookies from your computer, tablet, or smartphone at any time. You can disable cookies in your web browser's security settings, and delete previously stored cookies. You can also set up your browser to inform you every time hvisk’s website tries to place a cookie on your computer.

6. Complaints

hvisk thoroughly checks all goods before they are dispatched. However, should there be any defects in the product or errors in the service, please contact us by email at customerservice@hvisk.com.

When you do business with hvisk, your warranty to complain extends for 24 months. If you want to claim for a product under the warranty, please email hvisk within a reasonable time from when you discovered the defect. Please include in the email your order ID, item name and number, as well as a detailed description of the defect. If hvisk finds the complaint to be valid, we will send you a return label so you can return the product without incurring a cost.

Complaints that are sent within two months after discovering the defect will always be considered as being within a reasonable time period. It is a requirement that the complaint is justified, and that the defect has not occurred due to incorrect use of the product or other damage caused to the product. 

When dealing with a complaint for which you have received a return label, please enclose the receipt with your name, email address and order ID, and a detailed description of the complaint. Remember that the item must always be sent back in proper packaging, and remember to get a postage receipt from the courier you use.

Goods returned due to complaint will be repaired or replaced with a new and similar item within seven working days of hvisk’s receipt of your item. If the replacement item is out of stock, your purchase sum will be credited to your account within seven working days.

7. Conditions of Competitions

hvisk’s competitions are not conditioned to sale. Only one entry or participation per person is allowed per prize draw. When you enter a competition with hvisk, you will be part of the prize draw for the stated prizes. 

In cases of suspected cheating, hvisk reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition. Competition winners will receive a message by email, and names will be officially released on Facebook or in our newsletter. By participating in the competition, you accept the official release of such information. Winners will usually receive a prize within 14 days.

Other

If you enter the competition, you must provide all personal details requested, so we can contact you and send you any prizes you may win. hvisk reserves the right for possible typographical errors in the competitions. hvisk reserves the right to change prizes in a competition or end the competition completely with immediate effect. Competitions are not open to hvisk employees or to any member of their household. The competition winner is responsible for declaring any winnings to the relevant tax authorities.

8. Discount Codes

From time to time, hvisk offers discount codes that can be used as part of a purchase on hvisk.com. The conditions for the use of the individual discount code will be specified at the time of issue.

These terms and conditions relate to all promotions, competitions, and discount codes, unless otherwise specified.

  • You may only use one discount code per order.
  • A discount code cannot be used after an order has been placed.
  • A discount code cannot be combined with any other discounts, promotions, or discount agreements.
  • A discount code only applies to non-discounted items.
  • hvisk disclaims all liability and is unable to manually ensure that the customer’s discount is applied. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the discount code is entered correctly and that the discount is deducted prior to payment.
  • A discount code can no longer be used after it has expired.
  • A discount code cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • A discount code must be treated with care, as hvisk is not obliged to offer compensation in the event of abuse, if it is lost, or is being used by someone else.
  • Some product categories may be excluded in connection with certain promotions and discount codes. In such instances, this will be specified when the discount code is issued.
  • We encourage you not to use discount codes to buy jewellery at a lower price to re-sell at a higher price. 

If a discount code is used for any of the above, or in a way hvisk deems as a violation of our values, hvisk reserves the right to cancel or reclaim the discount code at any time without prior notice.

9. Gift Certificates

hvisk applies the following terms and conditions to the use and purchase of gift certificates.

  • An electronic gift certificate expires after five years.
  • The maximum worth of a gift certificate is DKK 3000.
  • hvisk is not liable for lost, damaged,s or deactivated gift certificates.
  • hvisk reserves the right to change these rules.
  • Gift certificates are valid as payment or part payment when shopping on hvisk.com. The card automatically expires when it has been used up. 
  • When you use a gift certificate on hvisk.com, the amount will be withdrawn from the gift certificate’s balance and any possible outstanding amount will appear on your receipt.
  • A gift certificate may not be exchanged for money or to purchase new gift certificates.

You can check the current balance of the gift certificate by logging into your account on hvisk.com and entering your gift certificate code and PIN. You can also find out your balance by contacting customer service team by email (customerservice@hvisk.com) or phone (+ 45 31 10 22 20). State your gift certificate code and PIN in the body of the email, or have your gift certificate code and PIN ready when you call us.

10. Guidelines for Website Comments

We wish for our website to be a good place for anyone who wants to be inspired by our stylists. We want to retain a positive tone, and treat one another with respect. That is why it is not permitted to write posts in the comment fields that:

  • are unlawful (i.e. defamatory, breach the Copyright Act or similar).
  • attack a specific person using their name, or have the character of such.
  • contain strong or offensive language.
  • look like SPAM.

 

hvisk reserves the right to delete comments if they do not comply with the above-mentioned rules.
